Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to attend ‘The Grafters‘ – an evening of networking and awards that are solely focussed on celebrating the Construction Industry in the North West. Driven by the same team that run the “Talk of Manchester’ events, ‘The Grafters’ was originally a monthly networking event but became so popular that it was decided to celebrate the companies involved through an award ceremony once a year. This year ‘The Grafters Awards’ took place on Thursday 18th May 2017 with a glittering Gala Dinner held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.
The Headline sponsors for the event were The Boardroom, Shape Consulting Engineers, MCM Insurance and Altitude Aluminium, with category sponsors including Mesi Living, Construction Q, Plus Finance, AC Danzer, and Potential Recruitment. The evening was also focussed on raising money for Kidscan – a charity focused on children’s cancer research. Around £2490 was raised during the ceremony, which the charity was delighted to receive.
